Did you know that a child is orphaned every 18 seconds?  Even while you read this many children are experiencing the deep pain of losing a birth parent.  Children from all over the world are in desperate need of loving families, yet all too often families who are willing to open up their hearts and homes do not have the financial means necessary to adopt.  They have a place at the dinner table, a warm bed, the ability to feed and clothe, but the front-loaded expense of adoption is insurmountable.  How can there be such a disconnect in our world?  How can we help remove the barriers that separate children in need of families from families in need of children?

Of course, becoming an adoptive parent is the most direct way to help orphans in need.  However, it is not possible for everyone.  But you can do so much to help.  You can team up with us as we work to raise money for Shaohannah's Hope.  Founded by gospel recording artist Steven Curtis Chapman and his wife, Mary Beth, Shaohannah’s Hope is an organization that has effected the lives of so many orphans across the world. On this site, you will learn more about Shaohannah’s Hope and the work that they do.  We bring this information to you today to ask for your help.

We are excited to be hosting the Show HOPE Golf Fall Classic to benefit Maria’s Miracle Fund of Shaohannah’s Hope on Monday, October 13, 2008 at the Hawthorns Golf & Country Club in Fishers, Indiana.  Your participation and donations will go directly to Shaohannah’s Hope.  Will you consider making the miracle of adoption a reality for a loving family?  Will you answer the call of orphans all over the world who are in need of love?  We trust that you will.
